Writing a blog.
Sounds simple enough doesn’t it?
Millions of people around the world do it everyday. So why after 20min am I still looking at a blank screen? I tried the old Google search trick for inspiration but people out there are so funny and witty and entertaining! There was so much pressure!!
So I am going to stick to how I got to this point and begin with what I know (and love) and tell you about my Little Ones as it is here you are going to be reading about our adventures.
I am the proud mama of 2 beautiful children -Master 2 and Miss 4 months. Yes, that means I had 2 under 2.
My journey into motherhood, began on the other side of the world, in the Middle East. My husband and I were off for an adventure and we certainly found it and stayed 3 years! What an amazing place with even more amazing people. I could write a whole blog on life there but I might save that for another time…
As a brand new Aussie mum living in the Middle East I came across a group called Boogie Babes and we both loved it. There is something special about quality one to one time with your child (I am appreciating it even more now I have a second). At home there are so many distractions like washing to be done, floors to be cleaned or cupcakes to be baked (nice thought anyway).
When I returned to Australia, I was keen to get into as many activities as I could but I was shocked at how hard it was to find any details let alone up to date ones. So the idea of an online directory was born and my research began.
On the other side of the world Sam Willoughby was about to expand her business What’s on 4 to Australia. I jumped at the chance at bringing it here. So this is the blog for www.whatson4littleones.com.au which I will write and there will be another for www.whatson4schoolkids.com.au – if you have school age children and would be interested in blogging on the site let me know! Our third site is www.whatson4kidsparties.com.au which is an essential guide when planning a birthday party for your Little Ones.
